Introduction

I've studied Chinese intensively since 1994 beginning with 4 years curriculum at UCLA. I am interested in opportunities to practice Chinese. Interest, too, in literary translation (to English). Wish to find others with whom to share such interests

Hi Ron,
I saw them too! I ran into a friend there so I was talking to her (tall, white) and helping her decide what to get. I think I was the only Asian woman at the shop. I do realize it's not exactly easy without the "Hi I'm here for MeetUp" name tag :)
How comfortable are you in speaking Chinese? How did you learn it?
