Here's my entry: A good place to see Indian
Azaleas (du4 juan hua) is actually the campus of
the National Taiwan University. In my time as a
student there I enjoyed walking the
magnificent Royal Palm Boulevard and admire
these flowers in full bloom in March, along with
the Festival celebrated. As a tourist, I would
take advantage of this venue. NTU's campus not
crowded, the pictures come out great and the
food is cheap and tasty at the cafeterias.

My entry is as followed: My favorite place for flower viewing is Fu-Gui Corner Lighthouse, which is located at the Shihmen Village in Taipei County. It has beautiful Gaillardia pulchella, a kind of chrysanthemum, in June. You can walk along the trail and enjoy the flowers and seascape at the same time. Trust me, it's a wonderful experience you don't wanna miss out.

My favorite place of flower viewing in Taiwan is Shinshou. In the end of each year, there is a festival of flower-sea. The scenery there is absolutely wonderful. Thousands of people visit there and enjoy the beauty of flowers. Also, there are plenty of famous spots nearby, such as Shinshou castle, KuKuan Hot-Spring, and etc. Here is the official website for last year: http://www.flower-sea.tw/. The festival this year is coming and I believe this is definitely a must-to-go place in Taiwan.

I used to live in Yang Ming Shan (???) before I moved to the States. The cherry blossoms always be the first signal of the spring before the traditional flower season which usually starts in March. Thousand of flowers make the mountain was transformed into a blaze of color. Then, the calla lily picking season follows it. Autumn is my favorite there since the weather is best for soaking in the hot spring and enjoying the red maple in the same time. I miss my place there.

My favorite place is Taiwan Tomita Farm, where my wife and I took the pre-wedding photos. This is a small but sweet farm. That different flowers boom in different seasons makes the farm different every time you visit it. It is a good place for new couple to take photos definitely! http://tomita.myweb.hinet.net/index_in.htm

My hometown is Mt. Taimali (????) in Taitung, southeastern Taiwan. One of the most memorable scenes I ever had is the mountain hills dotted with millions of orange-yellow Chinese Lilies (???). It's all about natural beauty: the wildly burning color bathed under the morning sunlight; the evening fog that covers the flowers like a lover's hand; the moonlight that shines the hills as well as the shimmering Pacific Ocean. Once you've been here, you'll never forget these scenes all your life.

Yang Ming Shan (Mt. Yang Ming) is the best place for flower viewing in Taiwan. The park is easily accessible via public transportation and the seasons for viewing a variety of flowers is almost year round. The cherry blossoms are beautiful in the spring time and the fall foliage is magnificent. There are fields of calla lilies to admire and a clock that is made of flowers within the National Park. One can even soak in the hot springs as well as enjoy the mountain vegetables.

My favorite place of flower viewing in Taiwan is in ShinShe Township in Taichung County. Not only there is a variety of beautiful and well-regulated flowers around, but I and my wife also have wonderful wedding pictures and pleasant memories there. You can find all sorts of coreopsis, sunflower, begonia, cleome, etc. there, which compose a glorious sea of flowers.

My favorite place of flower viewing in Taiwan is Miaoli County. Each spring, the Tung blossom blooms and sprinkles the mountains in Miaoli with its whiteness, presenting an unparalleled modest beauty. It is a pleasure of senses to walk in the scented forests and enjoy the visual feasts. Tung blossom provides an aura of elegance and sereneness that few other flowers can rival. It is also a symbol of Hakka culture and spirit. Experience yourself and you?ll see how wonderful flower viewing can be!

My favorite place of flower viewing is Tianwei-Roadside Garden(?) in Changhua County. I can simply ride a bike and enjoy all kinds of flowers around me. Besides, it becomes a tradition for my family to visit Tainwei and buy some flowers or trees home during Chinese Lunar New Year. This further makes me have a special connection with the Roadside Garden!

The most awesome place to have a flower viewing is the South Cross Freeway, a freeway that connects Taidong and Kaohsiung County. In early winter, the road was full of Taiwan-breed sakura in light and dark pink. I went biking there one winter vacation with my friends. The flowers looked especially delicate and beautiful under the blue sky and white clouds. They gracefully welcomed us in such a peaceful mountain area. Their accompany offered me a way to forget the tiresome uphills.
